Tooth Whitening

This is a process used to lighten the colour of the natural dentician. It is a cosmetic treatment that involves bleaching your teeth to make them whiter.

Ceramic Crowns

A Crown fits over the prepared tooth. Modern Ceramic materials are tooth coloured, very strong and blend well with natural dentician.

Ceramic Veneers

Dental Veneers are thin, tooth coloured shells that are attached to the front surface of the tooth to improve the cosmetic appearance of your smile.

Bridges

A Dental Bridge is a way of replacing missing teeth. It is fixed in your mouth and not removable, like a Denture.
There are 2 common types of Bridge:
– Adhesive Bridge: Uses a small metal band to attach the false tooth to the adjacent tooth.
– Crown Retained Bridge: The Bridge can be held in place by attaching the false tooth to a Crown on one or both side of the gap.

Frequently asked questions

A Crown can be used when:

– A tooth is fractured.
– A tooth is very heavily filled and has more decay and the tooth is weakened.
– Are used as part of a bridge.

Veneers are not suitable if you grind your teeth. Persistent grinding can cause veneers to chip or even detach from the tooth.

Whitening can last for a while, however, diet, alcohol, smoking, medication and other factors can affect the shade of your teeth.
