Missed appointments and late cancellations
Missed appointments and short notice cancellations present a cost to the Surgery, particularly now after the financial pressures suffered due to the COVID19 Pandemic.
We can ill afford to waste appointments, particularly as we are still working under Covid restrictions within the Practice.
Kirkliston Dental Surgery requires 48 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. Failure to do so, or failure to present for a scheduled appointment, will result in cancellation charges.
Cancellation Charges:
15-minute appointment: £20
30-minute appointment: £30
45-minute appointment plus: £50
The Practice withholds the right to remove patients from our practice list who have poor attendance or short notice cancellation history. Aggressive or abusive behaviour towards any member of our staff will not be tolerated and they may be removed from our patient list as a result.
