Fissure Sealants
Fissure Sealants are plastic coatings painted onto the grooves of the back teeth, to from a protective layer that prevents food and bacteria getting stuck and causing decay.
Orthodontic Treatment
Kirkliston Dental Surgery are able to refer children who require Orthodontic Treatment such as train track braces.
Childsmile
The Childsmile programme is designed to improve the oral health of children in Scotland from birth. This provides twice yearly fluoride varnish applications from two years at the Dental Practice, oral health advice and twice yearly Check Ups.

Brushing your child’s teeth
It is important to begin gently brushing your child’s teeth as soon as they erupt. They should be brushed twice a day – first thing in the morning and just before bed.
